Leopard Safaris by KK Collection's campsite in Yala is situated in a nature-filled location of over 12 acres of private land, and has been landscaped in keeping with its natural setting. The site comprises of dry zone forest, which shades the tents and keep the temperature within them cool.
The camp is located right on the border of Yala National Park. This close to the national park, there is no lack of wildlife inside the camp and you can expect to wake up to the sound of tropical birdsong every morning. The trees are also home to monkeys and squirrels, and the grounds alive with reptiles such as frogs and prehistoric-looking monitor lizards. Sometimes, elephants can be spied on the edge of the park’s boundary.
Our Yala safari camp offers various tented accommodation options including double, and family-style tents, in Luxury Tents, a Tree House and Classic Mobile Tent categories. There is a Living Pavilion for relaxing, a Dining Pavilion (although we often dine under the stars), and an eco pool, that offers a great opportunity to refresh after an adventurous day in the park.
We offer Free WIFI, however we strongly encourage our guests to keep its use to a limit and "SWITCH OFF" during their time in the jungle. Kindly note that our campsites are non-smoking, however we have designated smoking areas available.
Food is an integral part of your stay at both Leopard Safaris campsites, and many of our clients tell us it’s the best they’ve had in Sri Lanka.
Our devoted camp chefs cook from the heart, and prepare traditional Sri Lankan food using locally grown fruits and vegetables, some of which grow in our own permaculture gardens. Our chefs can adapt our menus and we can cater to all dietary requirements.
We serve a set menu at the camps, but are happy to customize it to your taste. We are also happy to prepare special meals for vegetarians, people with food allergies and children. If you have any special wishes, please inform us in advance so that we can make sure to cater for them.

At Leopard Safaris we ensure your stay with us is a holistic Sri Lankan safari experience, with various offers and Activities at Camp as part of your all-inclusive stay suitable for all ages.
Each guest is welcome to join us for activities of their preference, including amateur photography classes, cooking classes, and our daily Safari Tours.
Our safaris are driven by expert professionals of whom like us, respect our surrounding environment and have minimal animal disturbances to spot our incredible animals such as the Serpent Eagle, Saltwater Crocs, Jackals and Mongoose, and of course the famous Sri Lankan Leopard.
